LANCOM's Ticket Support offers premium service at low cost

 

Aachen, May 30, 2007 - Ticket Support now provides an additional and new premium support service from LANCOM Systems. Ticket Support offers LANCOM customers a cost effective way of accessing the in-depth know-how of the networking specialists not only for support, but to aid their services as well. The existing LANCOM Systems support with free e-mail support and low-cost telephone numbers for specialist resellers remains in place.

 

With a support ticket, the customer purchases a number for an extensive range of services. These includes not only direct access by phone plus call back with a guaranteed reaction time, but also the conceptualization of solution scenarios, the generation of configurations, and any necessary remote support. One ticket is charged per question or problem and per hour or part thereof.

 

Wolfram Ohn, Department Manager of Service, Support and Training explains: "In view of the increases in complexity and performance of our products, the demands made of our specialist reseller partners are increasing as well. It is more efficient to buy-in expert knowledge when required than to maintain the necessary depth of knowledge across an entire spectrum. A number of partners approached us expressing their wish to be able to purchase and utilize knowledge directly from LANCOM, beyond the scope of typical support requests. I am very pleased to be able to meet this demand now."

 

Pricing and availability

LANCOM offers three types of support ticket: The single ticket costs EUR 60.00 plus VAT. A ticket for five requests costs the customer EUR 280.00 plus VAT, for 10 requests EUR 530.00 plus VAT. Ticket support is available Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm (CET). Within these times, LANCOM guarantees a reaction time not exceeding two hours. Support tickets are available directly from LANCOM via the order form provided. Once ordered, ticket numbers are sent together with the invoice by post.

 

The vouchers can be redeemed within 2 years either by e-mail or telephone. For a request by e-mail the ticket number is simply entered into the subject line and sent with the message to the dedicated e-mail address ticketsupport@lancom.de.
